I know MiracleGro fertilizer is a no-no. But is it ok to use MiracleGro potting soil???
I need transplant my little guys very soon and that is the only soil I have access to... this is kind of urgent so any replies would be tremendous!!!
Thanks,

your little guys really might not stand a chance.. the plants dont like miracle grow... ESPECIALLY in their early veg/seedling stages.. they'll have a better chance at makin it in cramped space than acid dirt
Well I dont know why miracle-gro does so bad :P but the only advice I have for you is to atleast make sure there is more N than PK.
I'm using it right now and its going great. Drainage isn't the best, but you could mix it with pearlite.
I think some people say not to use it, but I dont know why. I have no complaints.
Because Miracle Grow soil releases nutrients slowly....Quote:

Ahhh... yes... the same essence you got when you opened a bag of Miracle Grow for the 1st time in your life... ahhh....
(I think)
Turtle you saying that alone is enough to make me not use MiracleGro lol.
but MG only releases nutes for 3 months, max. So my 4 month grow wont have "tasty" buds.
I see how MG would be a problem if the cultivator doesn't realize the nutes are already in the soil.
If i could go back in time, I probably wouldnt use MG so that I could control my ferts better, but I think MG can be used successfully if you dont fert too much.

I used mirical grow soil and my plant is ok, although it might just explain the rusting of my buds now.
maybe I've been lucky, but I've grown for years using nothing except Miracle-Gro, and I have the healthiest plants of all my growing friends ... BUT.... I use it only as a once-weekly foliar feeding, with a hand sprayer, getting the underside of the leaves well ... I add no nutrients to the soil :smokin:
cool man, good to hear, nice work
