The Phony United Nations Report on Gitmo

In a report released today, the United Nations says the United States should shut down the terrorist prison at Guantanamo Bay, and either release them or put them on trial.

But, get this....

The report, summarizing AN INVESTIGATION BY FIVE U.N. EXPERTS WHO DID NOT VISIT GUANTANAMO, said photographic evidence and testimony of former prisoners showed that detainees were shackled, chained, hooded and beaten if they resisted (God Forbid, LOL).

As everyone knows, the detainees have been trained to disseminate false allegations. The amazing thing is that people....err, more specifically, the Hate-America Left fall for it, and take the side of the terrorists.

So the United Nations is basing their entire report on the testimony of suspected terrorists, and not their own firsthand knowledge of what actually happens there.

Bottom Line: the report is about as useful as toilet paper, and might as well be used as such!

The people they hold and torture are not all terrorists. We have had british citizens being released after several years of torture without being convicted of terrorism. The who reason why the camp exists outside the USA is so that they can 'get away with' torture. It is a camp Saddam Hussein would have been proud of, which is why the civilized world wants it closed.

...and if they resist then they should be punished. Not tortured of course but they are there for a reason.

I think it should stay open..what did they expect? Room service? And I don't believe they are being tortured,but that is just me and my opinion.

Well I dont know what your propoganda press tell you but according to news reports in this country the FBI has leaked documents confirming torture taking place, aswell as written evidence from ex soldiers working there. I happened to be in the states (in proper redneckville too) when the Guantanamo torture allegations originally came to light, and although they were on the front page of virtually every newspaper in Europe you had to turn to page 17 or something of the Washington Post to find a tiny paragraph on the matter.

And yes if you are not guilty you do not deserve to suffer 4 years of solitary confinement and torture, it is absolutely sick. Sorry to say it but you current government are behaving like fascists. If you want to know the truth about Guantanamo bay check out the BBC website or a reputable news site.
