Fluorescent or HPS for vegging?

I just finished my new grow box with a 250 watt HPS. I have a small northern lights plant that I need to veg for another month or so, and I also have about 200 watts of CFLs I could use. I know HPS is better for flowering than vegging...would the 200 watts of CFLs be better than 250 watt HPS for vegging?

The HPS will keep the NODES closer together...

BUT you Fluorescent will do a GOOD job
further more....... you should get a 400 watt HPS!!
