orange is my new favorite color

so i just bought a gram and its wicked laced with orange fibers. i smoked three bowls with my friends and got so fucked up it was awesome. but then dorm security came and i freaked out, made up some lame story about how i was napping, and the smoke MUST have been coming out a different rooms window. hey, they had no proof, so I was in the clear. anyway, it was just really good shit. i dont know what the orange fibers are, but ive been finding them alot in the pot out by my school. not so much at home. sorry if this is stupid, and if i should know what they are, i dont. i just know i like them and they like me:D

We call them red hairs around here and that type is great! But I really don't know names of different strains..I just know if its good when I burn a good one.:smokin:

Red hairs are present in almost every type of cannabis. Some have more, some have less. It doesn't make it super potent either. All those red hairs are, are the pistils during growth. They start out white, and when harvest nears, they turn a reddish/brown color. All the hairs are are an indication of when to harvest.

Here are a few pictures of some buds I had awhile ago that are filled with red hairs. Very normal in strains these days. Some strains have more, some less, and some don't have any at all, but is rare (around here anyways).

Red hairs are even found it Mexican dirt weed. Which is the shittiest of shit weed.
