Got cited for possesion, would it help to get a doctors note?

Hi, I'm 18 and got cited for misdemeanor possesion (less than 28.5) in Cali. My court date is approaching and I was thinking that I could probably get a medical marijuana perscription but do you guys think the judges would show leanency if I got it after I was cited? Its not so much the fine I'm concerned about but that it could go on my record, making it harder for me to get a job. Would employers look for this? Also, the cop wrote the wrong year on my citation, not that it matters. What do you guys think I should do?

Me and my friend went to one of those spots that is supposedly super chill with a killer view, although I was driving there pretty hard and someone probably called the cops after hearing my car. Anyway the cops rolled up on us but my car was off (keys on my lap) so it wasn't traffic related and I doubt I'll get my license suspended or anything. To make a long story short it was a dumb move and I had way too much on me including a scale and some bottles. She said since I didn't have bags it would be a hassle to charge me with anything except possesion, and since I was talking to them fine and actually having a conversation about the kind of car I have and the veiw and all they could pretty much tell I wasn't intoxicated. Pretty nice cops for this area and they prolly figured it was an easy bust and didn't want any hassles (hell they probably pinched a few nugs). I was just wondering if anybody thinks it would help my case to go in with a doctors note although it would probably mean pleading guilty.

All I know is you need to spend the money on the first one to get out of it don't get in the system of probation and that bullshit
