Keif and grinder questions...

Can someone recommend a good SpaceCase grinder knockoff that I can afford?

Also, when collecting the crystals, does that take any THC out of the weed? Or is it still there and the crystals are like a bonus? Confused...help!

I got one off of E-Bay and it works great. If you're getting one to catch the crystals I'd also recommend getting a pollen press to go along with it.

Yes, if the crystals are collected from the weed you are also taking THC away from the weed. Basically what happens is that when you grind your weed some of the crytals will fall off. They will also fall off in the baggie, when you touch the bud, etc. It's really a non-issue because the amount of THC you are losing is so small you'll never notice it when smoking the weed.

The bonus is that the crystals themselves are high in THC. If you collect them over time you will build up a fair amount which you can put into a pollen press and essentially make a crude form of reasonably potent hash. I have to stess the "over time" part of this. You're not going to grind up a gram or two and get enough crystals to do anything with. After an ounce or two, however, you should have a decent smokable amount. For me its more of a fun "wow, I made my own hash!!" type of thing than anything else. Just something that goes along with smoking thats cool to do.

$19.99 for a grinder?

Mine is exactly the same as the one on the ebay, absolutely no difference, except a different design on the lid. Got it for £8 on a stall the other week. Very useful thing too.
