How to join the cannabis club?

I'm in the bay area (Oakland/SF) I would like to join, so if anyone could e-mail me at [email protected] with info on what i need to join. thanks

You need to see a doctor, tell him/her of your ills, and let them know cannabis is helpful. Some clubs can direct you to a MD, or you can find one on the back of the SF Weekly Newspaper. It's free and all over the bay area.
I live in SF and we get cards from the department of public health. 25$ for a two year card that will get you in any club in the entire bay area, and sometimes outside of the bay area....depending on where.

Hey daima, do you know if you have to be a SF resident to get a card? I'm down in San Jose and I don't think the dph down here issues cards.

By the way, I've always been curious, what does "dai ma" mean?

You dont have to be a SF resident. The Health Department takes new clients starting at 1:00 pm, daily. You will see a line that says "Medical Marijuana Cards" Bring your MD's Note and your ID.

dai*ma means, Great Hemp. It's a 10,000 year old Chinese word/symbol, which i have a tat of on my leg. It's a neat looking symbol and i wear it with much pride.

I dont miss the South Bay. I use to own condo in Santa Clara and would lease a house in Aptos, down by Santa Cruz. I miss Santa Cruz.

So I can go into any club and ask them about doctors? Do you need to see a doctor after the 2 years are up?

Many clubs can direct you to a pro medicinal cannabis MD. After two years are up you do need a letter from your MD to renew card. Which is as easy as the first time, but easier. Once you have your card how many plants you can grow depends on what county you are in. Here in SF I can transport .4lbs, and grow up to 25 plants without local police problems. Most i know grow more. Most cops in SF completely ignore marijuana use. Here you will get in more trouble for J walking than you will for J smoking. :dance:
