IM ABOUT TO START MY FIRST GROW ,IVE GOT BQ,S POTTING SOIL BUT IT SAYS ON IT NOT FOR ACID LOVING LIME HATING PLANTS,SHOULD I USE IT OR WHAT. MY SEEDS ARE NORTHERN LIGHTS AND IM ABOUT TO USE METAL HALIDE 250 WATT LIGHT,MY NUTES ARE ORIGINALLY FOR HYDRO,CANNA VEGA SUBSTRA AND CANNA FLORES A PLUS B ,DO YOU THINK I CAN USE THESE FOR SOIL . ANY HELP APRECIATED I WILL POST PICS AS SOON AS I GET SOME GROWTH CHEERS MARYJ

Well lime is alkaline so if a plant hates lime but also hates acid conditions you need to wonder what they sell this soil for. Plants like either alkaline or acid soil (many more plants perfer slightly acid then slightly alkaline) are you sure you are reading that package right because it should say "for acid loving lime hating plants" that would at least make sense.

Yes limes (a fruit) are acidic. The lime i'm talking about is a mineral "calcium carbonate". Lime juice is not normally found in soil mix. Lime the mineral normally is.
