Mason jars

I heard that keeping your shit in a mason jar will keep your shit fresh for like a year. Does anybody know if you're supposed to leave it in the baggie when you put it in the jar?

We cure in mason jars. Not sure how much you have or how long it will last you. Our personal stuff comes out of a little jar, but we may have more than you do. If all you have is a baggie it will not make much of a difference for you. Imo

i usually take it out of the bag and throw it in the jar and put it some where dark, it will keep forever like that

In all honesty dont worry about that sort of thing weed contains potency for a very long time.

Is there noticeable smell outside the jar if you dont use a baggie? Or does it seal ok?

If you seal it in a jar you wont smell it unless u open the jar to vent it.

I also heard that you need to let it air out once a day for a couple of weeks. Any confirmation to this rumor?

Yep that's true, it's called "burping". Allows the excess moisture out or something.
