Man Busted For Reporting Marijuana Theft

If you're going to report a pot theft, don't try to reclaim your stolen property.

Police in Orem, Utah, say Kory Tippetts reported that a quarter-pound of his weed was taken during a break-in at his home.

Officers recovered a bag of pot and asked to Tippetts come to the police station to identify it. When Tippetts said it was his, he was busted for investigation of possession with intent to distribute.

Police also arrested the man suspected of breaking into Tippetts' house and stealing the marijuana.
