if your parked in a pulic parking lot, and a cop has no reason to search your car, he cant search it.
Police need to have something called "probable cause" to search a vehicle w/out a warrant. Whether this be you smelling like weed, the cop seeing open alcohol containers, or a drug sniffing dog to alert on the car. Either way, you are *most likely* not going to get searched if all of your shit in in order and you dont reek like pot.
