Question (probably, for old timers)
If you look back to the days when pot was legal, you'll see an American Hero, called Babe Ruth. Ever since "his day", people have been talking about him and what's the negative side everyone always mentions? They say he was an alcoholic. Mickey Mantle, too. And then just keep going until the 70's, alcohol was a big part of everyone's downside.
So, my question is, "Why has there never been an athlete labeled as a Pothead and why isn't there huge stories of famous peoples' downfalls because of Herb?
I understand about Ricky Williams, but he's back and scoring more TD's than everyone else on the team.

Of course, the way to be successful in any form of entertainment is to be able to relate to a wider population and subjecting yourself to all sorts of states in order to understand different perspectives.
In sports, everything, including natural disease (Lou Gehrig), synthetic enhancers (steroids), money problems, legal troubles, injuries, etc., have been a downfall but I have never heard about a Pothead. It blew my mind that Ricky Williams took a year off from playing a game that he loves just because he wishes he played football thirty years ago, before drug testing.
