bare minimum lighting

I decided that my problems with weed were related to the fact that i was spending money on it. It got to the point where weed was like money to me, and if i had it, i had to spend/smoke it.

I'd like to grow, but i'm afraid of spending hundreds on lights and running into the same problem again. When i spend so much money on a project, i end up being dedicated to it not because of its benefits, but because it damn well better pay off.

Whats the cheapest, easiest, simplest light setup i can use to grow a plant or two indoors this cold season?

Or should i just stick one next to the window?

ps i dont care about the quality of the weed, as long as it gets me even a little bit high i'll be happy.

let me put it this way:
my set up (lights(MH,HPS), seeds, pots, soil, nutes, fan, etc.) costed me about 350 usa $ which is not even a cost of an OZ of weed where i live. and i am expecting to get about 5 OZ from my 4 plants so i am saving big $$$ not buying weed anymore.

lol i dont need 5oz, nor will i want to be greedy enough to own that much, and i definately wouldnt want to put myself in danger by giving it away.

a gram or a joint will make me proud, as long as it is my own.

The thing about growing equipt. is, you really only have to buy it once. Once you have the stuff, you can grow once or twice and make your money back. Buying bags, you buy them over and over and over...

Get some CFL's for growing. If you're looking to produce that little of amount, that's what I would suggest.

Next, you need some seeds, soil, nutes, containers.

grow 2 little plants under a 150 watt envirolite, you should get a little over an ounce if you lucky. Thats not much but better than a gram and the weed could be good, its also very inexpensive

Maybe you should try growin outside 1st? i mean ...seed from last bag (already paid for) + free soil (maybe a little prep time) + sunshine (also free) and some water and inna few months you get very smokable herbs that with pride you can say you grew. But if your anything like others you will always wonder "what if" and the point Lord Nochowderforyou makes is very intresting amd valid. once you invest in your equipment can you imagine getting killer for like 35-60 a lid? ...it wobbles the mind...lol
