Light Help

I bought a few compact fourescents 3 in all two are 1600 lumins and one is a regular flourescent with 750 lumins is this enough for 5 seedlings which i hope to squeeze 3 females out of? And i was at lows and i noticed that the bathroom lights produced more lumins than the plant/ aquarium lights why is this? if i use regular light is it missing somthing the plant needs to grow? the two 1600s say they produce "day ight". Will i need different bulbs for veg and flowering? I have grown once before but i gurrila'd it out in the woods so i didnt hav to worry about the lighting.
