mooching roommate, argh

i dont know what to do about my mooching roommate. every time i get some bud she wants me to smoke her out, and i usually do -- but it's gotten to where she expects me to smoke her out at least twice a week, and she has never reciprocated. i wouldnt mind if she wanted to go in with me on a bag, or match me some bowls, but i cant keep smoking her out. the amount of money i spend on my own pot makes my bank account cry, i dont have the cash to be buying her pot too. i dont want to be a bitch, but how do i let my roomie know that i am not made out of green?

heh, I have the exact same situation with my little brother. he's always in my room and EVERY time I take some weed he keeps begging and begging like I owe it to him, I swear the kid smokes at the very least 1/3 of my stash.

anyway, I just tell him I can't afford to use so much, seems to work best. I mean seriously, if she thinks you're a bitch for not allowing her to smoke all your stuff and never share with you, she's pretty damned self centred.

I agree, be a grown up and tell her how it is. I don't have a problem with telling people to piss off, espically if they are not putting anything in, I'm a man, not the salvation army for pot smokers.

mrdevious, that sounds a lot like my roomie. she just keeps begging, even if i've already said no, like i owe it to her. and i always feel bad if i say no.

i'd ask her to kick some in, but she doesnt have a connection of her own. she doesnt buy weed, she just smokes it. she usually knows when i'm going out to buy bud, so she has plenty of opportunity to say "here's $20, do you mind getting me some" or whatever. but she never does.

it's very frustrating.

i'd tell her that she has to start throwing in money or no more weed smoking, plain and simple.
