Ph Adjusting Question! Need info ASAP.
Well, two of the blueberry seeds germinated and are going to be put in pots soon. The growth from the bagseed plant has been stunted (only 9 days old). I know it should definately be a lot bigger than it is (still working on the first 3 leaf node). I figure it's due to it being a white seed, but it doesn't matter to me since it's just a bagseed. I adjusted the pH on some water to 6.8 with minute maid orange juice (had nothing added to it besides water). The orange juice had a pH or 3.0 before it was added. The water stayed at 6.8 for about 24 hours before starting to get a lot more acidic. I also had some of it in the metalic spray bottle I use. The gallon bottle's water went down to about 5.5 while the water in the spray bottle stayed at 6.7-6.8 (kept moving rapidly). I'm guessing it was due to light being on the gallon jug or something (slight algae growth maybe). The gallon jug is a water container that is used to get purified water in from this one shop. Basically I need to know how to lower the pH of the water without it potentially rising (I wont leave it in the light anymore). Right now the 3 things I have that will probably work is some more orange juice, a lemon, and apple cider vinager. Gonna check the ingredents in the vinager and see if there's anything potentially harmfull to plants in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I got it to 6.8 with my first try of adding the vinager (I found some normal kind.) So I'm gonna see how that turns out.

high all, i would go with 1/4 tea spoon vinager to 1 gal water. if you go below a PH of 5.8 you use baking soda to bring it back up. my tap water is 7.4-7.8 and i use 1/2 tea spoon so this should work for you.

I got it already. And instead of adding more things into the water you should just empty the water out and start over. Thanks for trying though.
