A fresh start here for me :)
I have been patiantly waiting to grow these MasterLows for a while now. I am hoping to build on my last grow it didn't go quite to plan, hopefully I am more experienced now.
I will be growing them in 1,5 ltr bottles, I have not gone and bought the soil yet so if anyone could recomend a good UK brand that would be great.
9 seedlings are now in a glass of water and I will hope for the best :D

I am already having doubts about the bottles I have just found out that 1.5 liter is only 0.39 gallon(S?) so what should I do are the bottles too small :confused:
No, the bottles should be fine for the time being. But later on down, the road, you will have to transplant into something bigger.Quote:

What I suggest you do, is wrap the outsides of the bottles up with something to cover them. Or, go buy some empy pots at Wal-Mart. They are about $1.99 per 8inch round container.

OK scrap the 1.5 liter bottles, I have been doing some reading on the official Lowryder grow guide :D
"For best results, place jiffy pellet or plant directly into 1-2 gal.pots. Alternatively, start in 4-inch peat pots, then place
rootbound females into a plant bed after sexing (at approx. 17-20 days)"
"Lowryder females usually grow no taller than 16-20 inches. 12-16 inches is typical. Light intensity, pot size, and proper pH all play an important role in determining the size of plants at maturity â?? the better the conditions, the bigger the yield. Plants produce one main cola, although when they receive adequate light, lower nodes branch out profusely." :D
noechowder, do they even have wall mart in the UK? And I agree with you on the pot room.. And yet.. I would just put them into a gigantic pot, and leave it at that.. I'm never transplanting again!!:p

I suggest start with small pots, then transplant later into bigger ones. Transplanting is not that hard. To have a successful transplant, the plant has to have a well developed root system. How do you know? I let the soil dry out completly, then I very gently, lift the plant up by its stem, then I see how much of the dirt has clumped together. If its really crumbly when lifting, don't transplant yet. Wait until it comes out all in one piece.
I start with small 4inch pots, then when my lady is ready to be put into something bigger (approx. 4-5weeks of life), I then transplant into 8inch square pot.

I'm also curious as how this cross of these 2 strain would flower. I know Lowryder is an autoflowering strain, but I know that the Kush isn't, so if you mix these 2 together, does that make it an auto flower as well? :confused: I've always wondered that.
Yeah, transplanting is not hard, but I tend to make it very stressfull..!:o
