I view the you and annoying person roles in your excerpt to be the other way around :) In reality, all the information you could ever need is available through erowid.org, people should take the time to find out what their putting in their bodies, we shouldn't have to tell them.

i no the site very well and some things are not on it actually their is alot of things not on erowid.org mostly having to do with unusual drugs. When it gets annoying is when you ask a diffucult question that isnt on erowid and someone automatically puts up erowid without even knowing if it's their.

Sending people to Erowid when Erowid has the info they need is almost always a good idea; there's a lot of bad info on the internet, but it's widely accepted that Erowid is an accurate source. However, when someone asks a specific question, even if it's on Erowid, it's nicer to give them the link AND the answer. So, for the example above, something like:
