i bought a thing for drawing sketches...there is a little board with sandpaper...and a weird cone/joint thing...can anyone tell me what these are for?

I thought it was for smudging the colors together?? I could be wrong

yeah, i found that that is what the cone is for...but im still not sure about the sandpaper...it did nothing to the colours

maybe to give it weird texture?? like grainy texture??

i have no clue what the sandpaper is for but the cone thing is for sahding and shit

my sister is an artis, she told me that it is for pencil tip shaping. if you wanted like a wider, flat line for a picture, you rub the lead on the sand paper to make it flatter, and then draw with the flat part of the pencil tip. It can also be used for sharpening, but I wouldn't recomend it.

its used to grind your charcoals and tips.
