After reading some of these threads, I've noticed how some of yall are on paper, but still smoke. That's playing Russian roulette.
I'm in no place to judge because I'm a STONER, but I've got a drug test coming up too. So I quit for a bit. Don't get me wrong, because i'm gonna blow my mind after I take that test, but dig this. It's a lot easier to quit for a bit and get clean than having to worry about taking certain pills and doing all this crap that doesn't work.
I LOVE WEED, but It's okay to quit for a bit. And if you can't, than it's safe to say that you're powerless and are being dominated by a plant.

It's all about priorities. Crap like the stuff on this board makes it harder for it to get legalized and easier for stoners to be stereotyped.

I'd never "go clean" for a job simply because I don't see the point in lying to them. If I'm going to abstain every now and then to test clean then what is the point exactly? As soon as they turn their backs I'll be smoking again and so will you. You want to talk about "priorities" well... it's a priority for me to work somewhere I can trust and be trusted. I'm also not going to put money in the pockets of people that actively support an industry so vested in marijuana prohibition (i.e drug testing agencies).
There are plenty of reasons for not submitting to drug testing. "I'm lazy and I like to get high" isn't even on my list. Blindly pissing in a cup instead of asking "why?" is what stifles legalization, not those who challenge it.

I just went from $20 an hour to $13 changing jobs becuse of random urinalysis. Am I slave to a plant ? Indeed. I am also a slave to my wife but, life couldn't be better.
I am almost on week 4 of abstinence to get a job that requires one initial test and then no randoms afterwards. It will take me a few years to get back up to my $20 an hour but, so what ? I am a musician and an artist and weed is my muse. I am happier now and that's all that matters -Happy New Year you stoners! :D

i totally agree, dynasty. it's not like they can't quit, but if you put money in most of these people's hands you can surely guess the next place it will be - a drug dealer's pocket. see where i'm going with this?

I'm still very much a student although I already have my first degree completed. I'm not going to tell you what it's in, sorry. Right now I work for a small engineering firm as their one-man-band (CAD, IT, courier, etc...). I'm getting one more degree and then I'll be able to do what I want.
