From an old English pot smoker
As the title suggests - I'm 43 and I've bin toking away for years.(And I'm English)
I traveled around the world for 12 years - a sort of post-hippy- I lived in all those 3rd world cheap paradises thet the hippies discovered in the 70s - Goa in India,The Islands of Thailand, Bali etc.
Nowadays everybody has been to these places in ther Gap years before they go off to university but in my day they were still relatively 'wild' and more importantly, the other travelers were very interesting and very cool- nowadays the travelers are traveling thinking that their trips will make them interesting and cool but the truth is that once a dickhead -always a dickhead.
Of course most of thos 12 years were spent totally off my face thanks to the wide array of mind blowing substances I consumed.
I now live in Barcelona and although I now have a wife, a son, a business and a mortgage, I still indulge i the Wacky Backy every Friday night.
My son is now 11 and we have to be a little careful but both my wife and I get totally wasted and spend the next 3 hours eating and laughing while our son plays on the playsation.
Unfortunatey our Friday evening blasts are going to have to stop because he's now asking us what we find so funny and just how delicious can a piece of cheese be.

Thanx for the reply - You never know - maybe there are a few more old potheads out there it just takes a whle to ge the knack of this 'new' mode of communcation - we are all basically 'technoidiots' as opposed to 'technosexuals'

and life has harmed me more than POT.
