Toads!

My father in law was telling me about something he saw on tv about hallucinagenic toads. People lick them to get high. According to the tv programme people kill them, dry them out and smoke them too. Has anyone ever heard of or tried this?

A toad spliff just doesn't bear thinking about yuck.

homer did it on the simpsons when he was building some kind of church, that was possibly one of the best episodes, doubt this will help, but homer definately licked a frog which made his pupils dilate and hallucinate.

I am pretty sure licking them doesn't work and is just regular misinformation. They also don't have to be killed, you just squeeze the venom out of the gland and let it dry. It contains bufotenin and 5-meo-dmt (Bufo Alvarius does at least) which are both hallucinogens that can be smoked for effect. If you were to take it orally you must combine it with an MAOI inhibitor.

I hear there is this sacred plant somewhere in the middle of the ocean, that if you eat, it'll send you into a god-like inebriation. Go look for it dudes, and get back to me. It's TOTALLY worth it.

plant that has DMT in it

Phalaris grows on land, in wet areas. It is one of many plant souces of DMT. There is a chapter in Tihkal called "DMT is everywhere". But this must also be extracted and smoked, or taken orally with a MAOI.

... My point is... get it from land... not from the water... and not from animals. What, are you going to keep the toad as a pet for an indefinite length of time constantly getting juices from it? Or maybe just get it an easier way?

DMT you will have to extract from plants. Toads are probably the best NATURAL source of 5meo-dmt, but you can save both yourself and the toads alot of trouble and just buy it on the net.
