Ok people ...even after the 'Suncell Growbox' episode i have a question regarding fluoros....
I'm not sure the tube light currently tanning my seedlings is in fact a fluoro'!
I asked a guy in a shop if all his tube lights were fluorescent and he nodded his head frantically .....but i don't think this guy new what he was on about! :confused:
What is an incandescant bulb..?
incandescant is like the lights you use in your house light sockets, they crap, then theres Floros, CFLS and HIDS, u want a floro or cfl for veg and a HID for flower ( hps better, can use MH too at 2/1 ratio or MH for veg if ya want ) hope this helps :rasta:
Metal Halide is very good for veg, but you can flower with it - HPS is very good for flower, but you can also veg with one!:)
I'm using one HPS 400 W (veg and flower) and my growth is juuust fine!:)
The bulb i've got is a 'Soft White'....does that mean anything?
Never heard of it, but then again, I havent been paying attention to it until I started growing..!:o
Maybe it's the same as cool white??:)
