you can huf and puff but you wont blow these down...r45 insulating factor...hurricane/tornado proof..earthquake proof...fire proof...infestation proof...been around since egyptions...why arent we all living in them? any fellow stoners living in or building green homes? lets educate the masses!!! :thumbsup: :rasta: :pimp:

this is not what im talking about. the word commune scares people. im talking about manetaining the norms lifestyle without ruining the earth. private homes and families without public utilities. self contained and earth friendly. bye the way ...what do you find to be the pros and cons of commune liiving? :rasta: :thumbsup:

We do not hurt the earth....I find that I put back more than I take..deep, intimate companionship with more than one person. I find there can be practical advantages to communal living. Often, a member of an expense-sharing group can live more cheaply than a single person can. People who live in group housing are freer to travel, as there are always going to be others about to water plants, take in the mail, pay the bills, keep company to those who stay behind, and so on. Most important, an intentional community is a social network. The chances are good that someone will usually be available to go out for lunch; to share a movie; to look over a final draft; to try the lunch seasoning; to listen to a cool idea; to join in on a magnificent undertaking; to take a walk in the sunset; to practice a sport or hobby; to fall in love with; to learn and to teach something to. Last but not least, maintenance chores are always more pleasant, and less demanding, when shared.

The cons are at times we cannot leave our canyon due to snow and the snow is not plowed usually by the city until we call and complain..Everyone knows each others issues.

Do you have any information on green homes?

I'm quite an environmentalist, and would like to one day retire to the woods and live with what nature gave us.

i did not mean to imply you are ruining the earth. I am trying to appeal to those who are. and the word commune unnfortunately rings of cool aid drinking cults. you howver made it sound very appealing until you got to the cons part. everyone knowing issues is a biggie.
