After a woman has her baby she bleeds from 6 wks to 8 wks ,,,then she goes back to her normal routine ;)Quote:

It depends on whether or not the Mom breastfeeds. True ecological breastfeeding will prevent a mother's period from returning until breastfeeding is stopped, 21/2 to 3 years. This is a biological imperative that ensures that the child is mobile and weened before another child is conceived. Of course, in our society, this no longer applies. Mine returned when my daughter was about 18 months old.
