derealisation?(or something like that)

yesterday and a few other nights over the past 2 weeks when i get real stoned everything feels really fucked up no joke like shits not real, ive been smoking heavily for 2 years but i went away for a couple of weeks recently and ever since then ive been getting this
things feel really fucked up though like nothings real, maybe like lifes just one massive tv show(but not that exactly) its hard to explain and i hope derealisation is the right word i just remember hearing it once and it fits what ive been feeling.
i just wanted to know if this is quite common or am i losing my mind when i get stoned cos it can get quite unpleasent

THIS IS A FORM OFF DEPRESSION THAT SETS IN WHEN U ABUSE CANNABIS YOU MIGHT THINK THAT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET DEPRESSED WITH WEED BUT BELEVE ME IT IS. I HAVE USED DRUGS HEAVELY FOR 25 YEARS AND ABUSED THEM ALL. THE THING WITH WEED IS THAT YOU GET USED TO BEING STONED IF YOU ARE ABUSING IT ,IE ,having a spliff when you first wake up, that is abuse and if you are smoking a lot on you own then depression sneeks up on u its just your body truing to tell u to slow down a bit sdo listen to it and it nwill stop plus if you smoke all the time then the stone gets less iuf you leave your smokin till weekend then it is a lot more of a stone i have reverted to having my smoke last thing at night so there. make sure all your experiances are good ones

Noa, life is fucking wierd anyway, scobbie mite av been a heavy drug user for 25 year plus, but that don't mean he knows anything about whats really goin on in the universe. Not one man, not even the most intelligent in the world know for certain what the fuck is goin on, look at Einstein, and even more so Quantum Mechanics, a system that is completely dependent on a series of guessed equations such as the Schrodinger, and Heisenbergs Uncertainty principle, which basically states that you have no idea of the exact location of a particle until it hits something, before then a solid particle behaves in a wavelike manner and its position, a cloud of probable locations, which mysteriously collapses down. And this aint a stoned rambling this is 1000's of years of research, and this is the best thinking (sane) minds on the planet honestly believing this, with good evidence to support the claims, so much so that this appears to be the only answer. If that doesn't fit an average mans bill of what insanity is I don't kno what does, jus take it as it is, is it so 'unpleasant' that you don't want it no more then stop smoking, if you can suck up the wierd bits of the experience because it gets outweighed by the effect ganja gives then keep smoking, but such questions as am I loosing my mind have no ground. Just flick through some symptoms of schizophrenia, psychotic episodes etc. and they are bullshit, prognosis clouded over in sophistocated language pointing to words (such as derealisation) that points to a definition which when broken down makes no sense whatsoever, something as ridiculous as a lack of desire to interact with other people deamed as a symptom (or you can't count backwards from 69 subtracting 7 at a time??!!!). This a gr8 testament to a complete lack of understanding of not only what the fuck a human is, but what its floating around in/on. Derealisation is also another 'symptom' of schizophrenia and the like (an ailment that all doctors conflict on the exact neurological/physiological mechanism of the disorder), and its given the definition of a feeling of not being 'real'. But what did you think was real in the first place? cause I certainly didn't think particles zooming around was responsible for the formation of everything in the universe. The fact that you only really believe what you see, but you only see in visible light and know for a fact that there are other forms of radiation 'invisible' to the naked eye, so even if you don't believe in the scientific shit, jus think of that one statement (which you have to cuz we've all seen an x-ray, or felt the heat from fire) and try and put an answer to it that doesn't make you think very abstractly, borderline insane. Point is no1 has a clue whats goin on, so when you say its wierd, wierd in relation to what?

I think the correct word is called "depersonalization" and i've had that too, hence why I stopped smoking weed. I agree it has to do with depression that is caused from smoking a lot of cannibis. I had been smoking pretty heavily for a year and a 1/2 and all together about 3 years in total on and off. Anyway, when I get really stoned, I would have that feeling that everything was kind of fake. Like I was looking through some type of viewfinder and perceiving the world all different. One time we smoked a fat blunt in my friends backyard right after school and I remember looking at everyone and having this weird thought about how they were perceiving everything and i felt trapped like the sky was over us and it's hard to explain but it bothered me. I was looking at his dog and I was like what the fuck, how does a dog perceive things, especially since that dog is sober. I couldn't contemplate how the world worked and how it was to be sober. It wasn't like scary it was weird and yeah it really is unexplainable, but I think i know what your talking about.

lol wow, i think you just explained what happens to me a lot when i get stoned. only, it doesn't really bother me, i kind of like it in fact. It makes me feel intelligent that i can interpret things in such a matter that i could never do sober.

Yeah, I read what you said about the sky, and I totally understand it. It's like the world is just one big building, and the sky is the low ceiling, even though its high up. I feel boxed in, but then it goes away....weird.
