No Diebold in NC

A leading elections vendor may withdraw from bidding to offer new voting equipment in North Carolina. Thats after a judge today dismissed the company request to protect it from potential criminal liablility for failing to provide certain sofeware code. Diebold election system is worried that it could be charged with a felony one day if someone determines it didnt place all of its code aside for examination by election official in case theres a voting mishap.
