what would you do in this situation...

alright well before summer this kid, we'll call him A, lit a tennis ball on fire and dropped it down the bleachers in gym ... which caused all the teachers to come to the bleachers and they called the fire department you know just incase or w/e.. well almost everyone in the school ratted on him by writing statements against him.. one of the ass. principals came up to me and asked if i knew if he did it or not.. i said i didnt see him do it and taht i was talking to my friend S...well he said tahts fine and walked away. A then got pulled out of class one day and we didnt see him again.. untill about a week ago, i went to this kids house we'll call him R to buy a half o and A was there cuz they are like best friends ..so we were chillin in R's house and he got us the weed and we smoked a few bowls.. so now today i asked R if i could get a dime, and he said sure but A wants to talk to u, and he now wants me to write a statement for him that says that i never saw him do it, he said he only needs 2 peopel to fill in statements and me and S are going to do it.. but im not sure i want to because i dont want to have to appear in court or ne thing, because he ahs a court date coming up...but he said i could get a half o ( of shwag) for 10 bucks cheaper than usual.. do you guys think i should write a statement and get cheap weed? or just settle for a dime?...i hope this story made sense.. thanks for your help in advance

If you do testify for him it would be all good, but just think of a way that you could later on if you had to get yourself out of trouble by saying that you saw something differently and make it so it is believable or something if possible. Also make sure everyone has the same story and keep it the same the whole time cause they like to catch on that, helped me out a few times when I was being blamed for shit and people kept fucking up their stories.

My vote is no, don't do it. :)

I guess it depends on whether or not I was friends with the guy. If it were, then ya, i guess I would sign the statement but if he's not really a friend then no, dont risk it. $10 is not worth throwin ur life away or even just complicating it with something like a trial, etc.
