Laws in Amsterdam?!?!?!

i've been talking alot with people from college, smoking buddies and even my dealer i don't know whether it is true or not but i heared about that the dutch government is stopping all tourism in holland just because we go over there smoke cannabis and then leave. what is taht all about? i mean they make loadz of money of us so i think they sud b thankful and also that we are giving there country a good reputation because its a awesome place :) they say now ''you can only purchase a small quanity of cannabis in holland, only if you are that of a dutch citizen''.........but the reason why i made this thread not only because of the question.....but also because they are bringing the law in the beginning of January 2006.........well that's what i've heared.

Fuck that. Through the course of history govrnments have always managed to fuck up a good thing. It wouldnt surprise me if this was true

This rumor is bullshit by a wishful minority. It is propaganda of a policy change that has not and will not happen. Dutch law prevents discrimination against foreigners.

The law will change in January to permit only coffee shops to see weed,no pub can sell weed and spirts/ale.

yeah, i believe prohibiting foreigners from using marijuana would hurt their tourism.

My bullshit detector went apeshit when I read that, lol sorry bro. That would be like Florida closing DisneyWorld to all tourists because they only want Florida citizens to enjoy the rides and entertainment.

yeah thats against eu law to dicriminate against foreigners, so i doubt it
