If we're submitting poetry, I want to show my emotions.

THE ONLY THING I CARE ABOUT

As I sit, I see Life in 11 ways
I'll, also, count, if someone told me the days
But what is overwhelming my mind?
A memory or my partners in this gaze?

It's Life and how we all share this space.
It's like, by outlawing pot we kill off another race.
But why should we care about a plant?
Why should we put a Judge's cousin in jail for not punching someone's face?

When no harm is done, the police can't arrest you.
Not even for being Irish, or being a jew.
So what's the difference with banning pot from the Earth (basically)?
I heard, it will not only harm our youth, but it will harm you?

Science can prove, no evil shall be done.
And when marijuana's legal, our panacea will be won.
Now, what is keeping us from winning the prize?
It's the eyes of the Dead, because their lack of knowledge has shunned.

My 11 Lifeforms:

Myself
brown stalks of plant life growing on an island
water
air
weed
cat
people on TV
trees
birds (occasionally)
smoke (gas, mystical life, I don't know, but it's from my cigarette)
and I included, over land, sea, island, sea a car in a parking lot.

What would happened if the government outlawed one of these things?

theif i wrote this lol

sometimes when I'm high
my mind wanders
and wonders why

smoke floats in the air
obscures the memories
a life taken without a care

the warmth of the night
remembered so clear
she was quite a sight

cricket floats in
I can see her now
she was a walking sin

she was stuck on that crack
and walking the streets
selling her soul to any old jack

cricket and dude seemed like fate
he was loaded with money
with plenty of rage and hate

she disappeared one day
set free from the pain
found happness I have to say

in a field she was found
no headstone or marker
just a hole in the ground

old dude tried to split
but he was never that quick
standing still when we hit

dude lost his luck
and the back of his head
dumped in a garbage truck

through the haze of the smoke
I can see her smiling
getting one more good toke
