Question about flashbacks

I've heard people talking about how they've had flashbacks from acid, DXM, maybe some other stuff, and I was just wondering what these flashbacks are like? Do you actually like see what you saw before, or relive a memory like you're there again, or what's the deal here?

i find flashbacks are just feelings of the trip coming back, A few days after i took shrooms one time, i didnt eat all day, and went out all day in the sun, smoking reef, so i came home all burnt out and really hot and exausted, and went to take the milk jug out of the fridge to drink it, but instead i was struck by a strong dizzyness, i felt as if i was really fucked up off shrooms. After literally dropping and picking up the jug about 5 times, i had half a glass of milk, i was sitting at the computer, and looking at a picture of a person on a cd case, and their face morphed to fuck. I think this just occured because i had heat stroke. But it definately some how made feelings of the shrooms come back. Not visuals , but strong CEVS, and dizzyness were what i felt.

makes me wonder what heat stroke is really capable of. I've only had it 2 times, when I was a kid, and the first time I remember I was coming home in the car, very sick from the stroke, and when we got out of the car there was a bunch of ants on the ground, but I saw them as purple beatles :confused: . yeah I know, that doesnt' sound right to me either lol .

It's a myth. I even believed it, and everyone I know that takes LSD still believes it, too. It's just really good DEA propaganda to slow the traffiking of LSD and to stop the uninformed from consuming lots of it.
