i throw it in a bag of isopropyl (rubbing) alochol (high proof, like 70%,) mixed with morton's salt, shake it up for a little bit, let it sit, shake more... change mix if needed, then wash it out, letting it soak in hot water. q-tip remains.
my fucking god i dunk mine in a bowlful of water, get a paperclip, unravel it a poke it thru so theres no clogs, leave it 2 dry and blow thru it (get all the gunk out) and thats it, no need 2 use salt, save it 2 put on ya dinner.
Search... there are many topics.
the salt crystals break up the resin and cut through it, therefore i have a glass piece that almost literally looks brand new when i'm done cleaning it.
yeah...if you have a metal pipe its a different story...but you want to keep glas looking as nice as possible
Well if you want in really really clean, like brand new clean, boil it with some soapy water. It will give you a spotless piece.
i just use warm water and a q-tip. i think i should use salt cuz theres always still stains of resin.
put it in acetone, like finger nail polish or something. Thats what the dude thats makes pipes at my local shop said to do. And i've tried it a few times and it works great! I rinse it out with soap a few times so it wont taste like finger nail polish remover. Make sure you dont put any type of finger nail polish or anything in a plastic container because it will melt through.
^^^do they not come in plastic containers?
