bonsai growing how do you go about doing it?

was thinking of starting to grow liitle bonsai size plant wots the pruneing tecnique to do it? and help well appericated .thx :rasta:

its like got a really thick stock that bends over to the side then it has like branches growing up tward the light off the main stalk , its trippy lookin , I wanna try too

Bonsai does involve cutting the plant too, not just the root, to train it into a certain growth pattern.
