voluntary general exam

I'm planning on getting a major physical exam from my own doctor. I am wondering if there is any reason to abstain from THC ahead of time. The exam is not being done for any employment or legal reasons.

Three specific and hopefully not redundant questions:

-Is it required by the physician to inform a patient if drug testing is being performed?

-Are there any chemical changes related to THC that might alter a thorough exam even if THC itself is not an issue?

-Is one's medical record essentially THC free if no specific test is done?

You can even tell your doctor that you smoke pot, under law he's not allowed to say anything to anyone about it. Unless you are hurting yourself or someone else (i.e. suicidal or homicidal). My father is a Physician.
