Lowrider in the west midlands
Hey everyone i'm planning to grow a couple of lowrider plants next and was wondering:-
.What time of year should i plant
.What should i use to protect my plants from pests(spider mites and also how to avoid mold and frost( some sort of shelter?)
.Would be okay to just use organic potting soil for the whole grow on its own
. Should i put the plant in bigger pots as it gets bigger?
All suggestions welcome and anyone who grows in the u.k
:pimp:

For lowrider, it doesn't really matter as long as it is in between the last and first frost, they will bud on most light cycles. You could make a mini green house, although lowriders aresupposed to be able to withstand very low temps. yes transplant to bigger pots as it gets bigger (not that it will get very big). Oh ye you can plant in potting soil, make sure you use ferts though

If you do some research on your local weather you should be able to find a table of avg. temps look and see when the last freeze is of the year on avg. and go by it.( Also LR needs an extra couple weeks when growing outdoors to finish nicely.) Because of the low stature of LR it doesn't all that much in the way of ferts. If your using a good purchased soil mix, I use FoxFarm Ocean Soil Mix which contains food for them already and is a great soil to use. I haven't ever added any lime to controll PH as it has Oyster and Clam shells ground in it already. I used FF GrowBig once in veg and FF TigerBloom once during the flowering stage. I'm in the San Fran metro area and plan a winter LR run as we only get a couple weeks of the year that it will freeze it'll take longer but the more direct sun they get the better.
Now I smoke daily and I found that LR is a great wake and bake strain. So you can get up and take a few hits and be high but in an hour or so after a shower you can be ready to leave for work its already gone.
Goodluck on your grow......
