MONEY ORDER QUESTIONS

ok, here it goes, im gettin off proby here pretty soon and im thinkin bout buyin a pipe off the net. i got no credit card, an im thinkin sendin cash through the mail is a bad idea. but im wonderin bout those money orders or mail orders (i dont know the difference) but the one u get at the post office. say i go in there an i say i want a $70 money order, r they gonna fill out where its goin at the post office cause i dont wanna be tellin the clerk im orderin from happypipes.com, weedcity.com or anything like that. i would think that where its goin should be personal. can someone explain how this works. what do they do an fill out or make you fill out at the post office an what do i fill out in the privacy of my own home? also do u have to sign it there or could i have a friend pick it up for me?

no dude , all the moey order is a piece of paper saying how much cash its worhth , ur good to go

so i just walk in an say i want a money order fer X amount an they print it out an give it to me to fill out at my house?

Do you have a Walmart? Buy one at the customer service center there. They don't ask any questions...they just take your $$$$ and hand it over.

I use MO's all the time to pay off my student loan. At almost any location, it's as simple as this: You pay them the amount you want, plus a tiny service charge (usually between $.75-$1.00), and they will print out the MO with the monetary value on it. The rest, you fill out yourself, so no worries about that.

There's no risk in using a MO to pay for goods. The only thing, it will take a little longer than if you had ordered with a credit card. Other than that, it's all gravy.

thanx fer all the info peoplez, ive gone this long tryin to get my name off th "on watch" list at the PD an i dun wanna srart all over cause i smoke tobacco in elaborite ways(crossballs is funny as hell). im gonna send in a money order cause i dun really care how long it takes. my proby contract doesnt end fer 2 months an im gettin off whenever i figure out how many hours i had. ill post a pic of me an my pipe if i get one of those computer cameras.
