Did I get ripped off?

I bought an o of regs for $130. The other day this kid from uptown told me that you should only pay like 70 an o for regs, and then he said something about regs not even being real weed, just buckwheat or something. I smoked a blunt with about 1.5-2 grams in it with a friend and it gave me a brief high where i kept trying to open a door the wrong way and we thought we were locked in this room and had to call the kid whose house we were smoking in, but i was pretty much good after like fifteen minutes and just felt happier than usual for a while. Also, it is not like i am a newbie to weed. i get blueberry, silver haze, and sour diesel a lot. Finally, if you're not from NYC you probably shouldn't reply, because i know that people from texas and shit say they could get os for like $20. Did i get ripped off?

In texas it's 20-40 an o depending on what you get.

Dude first of all regs can mean different things to different people, so if you could say what kind of weed you are getting, like describe it a little(does it have seeds, red hairs, etc)

Second if it is actually decent weed you will have no problem selling it to people for 25-30 dollars an 1/8 so thats 200-240. So $70-110 in profit and you are wondering if you got ripped??

As for people who say they can get oz's for rediculous prices like $20 and $40 i think they are either full of shit, they grow their own weed, the weed theyre getting is shitty, or they know someone who grows weed. And everywhere i have ever been in the states, the prices remain at least somewhat constant.
$20-$25= Schwag
$25-35= Kind buds/mids
$35-$45= Killer Buds

The weed I hought has a lot of orange-brown hairs, and its pretty sticky, but it also has seeds and stems like tree branches. Now i can get the same shit for the same price but without stems and seeds. What im saying is, in the future should i go with this kids connec in uptown who probably has schwag for 70 an o? Im trying to find out from people with experience buying weed in ny if im probably getting the same shit for double the price.

Most of the people who might get it so cheap might just have a good connection,my connect is also a really good friend = in very good prices and I know others with better connects and they aren't even experienced smokers that rarely smokethey just friends with the right people but why is weed more expensive up north?

Big L its up to you dude, but if i were you i would try to sell the better of the two weeds even if i made a little less money. I wouldnt really wanna be known for selling shwag, but then again, shwag is the money-maker.
