Penguin!

What's up, people? This is Jake Martinez, A.K.A. the Penguin. Some of you know I've been on the boards for a month or so, and as my 500 or so posts prove, I'm not a newb to them. I just thought some of you might want to get to know me. I'm 15 years old, Catholic (Agnostic/Yungian, really), and living in the Mormon state (Utah, for those who don't know).

I was a closed-minded little nerd up until the middle of 8th grade (13 years old). Then I joined a gang on a whim. I was in the gang until the middle of 9th grade, when I actually started to open my mind. I also quit smoking weed when I got jumped out. Then I slowly matured into the person I am now. I pride myself on being open-minded, and having a solid base of friends and family. Other than that, I really don't care. Except for this girl I like more than I like my life :D .

I've always been an intelligent person, but something about my experience as a gangster actually started me off on becoming wise. Intelligence will get you into a college, wisdom will keep you alive :thumbsup: . Oh, my dad and I smoke weed together once in awhile, but mostly we keep it to ourselves. We like to get high and talk philosophy :D. Beautiful, it really is.

Ive been away lately and Im on to get acquainted with new ppl.
See ya round the boards. You sound like a level headed kid ( no dis meant by 'kid' but you are) Im sure we'll debate the finer points of life once or twice.
