How far do you want the light during flower, and do you give the same amount of nutes
I have a 400 watt hortilux, and was wondering how far to keep the light from the buds during flower. It has a hood with a glass cover and one of the buds is touching the glass. It's not hot at all (the glass), but it looks like the lower buds have more crystals. Also, do you give same amount of nutes you were giving during veg? Last question, I water probably every 4 days, do you reccomend flushing? And if so, when and how do you flush?
Thanks :rasta:

Sorry, never used a hortilux light so don't know much about it. Use NPK fert with high conc of P for flowering. Use no more than recomended amounts on packet, I find it works better to give half the recommended strength twice as often, If your growing hydro, I don't know (I grow soil only). To flush, put your plants in the bath and turn the shower on warm/cool. Flush water through the soil untill liquid coming out of the bottom is almost clear, hence the name 'flushing'. Hope I've helped

Hi dingo... can you post a pic.. people on here need to see that a well ventilated light can produce amazing buds.. CAUSE YOU CAN KEEP THE LIGHT SO DARN CLOSE!!!
It should not be touching the glass... for a couple reasons.. you could deform the growth and loose some soze and weight.. and you don't want all those crystalls stickying to your glass... can't you lift the ligh 1/2 inch..
congrats on the GROW!!

As long as there are no nutrient problems most flushing is done the last week before harvest to remove the taste of the Nutrients from the buds.
What nutrients are you using? There are different nutrients requirement for vegetation and flower cycle, FYI

I'm using a cocoa soil, with the cocoa A and B, nutes. Plus some Tiger Bloom
