Help please
Its my first grow and i've got 11 sprouts that are two weeks old. On two of them the leaves are curling at the bottom one is quite bad. Is this over watering? They were just fed for the first time yesterday with bio-bizz grow at 1ml/l. Whatever it is will they be okay? If I don't water them again will they leaves straighten out or will they die off?
Any help appreciated
Big Al

Yes you really need to watch the watering when they are this young. How often do you water? and how much each time really it just needs a little bit like every other day at this stage. Watch the nutrients as well these really are two of the most common mistakes made by beginners, I am a beginner as well but read that beginners always give the plants too much water and nutrients because they love them so much. only thing i dont understand is how youre suppose to see if it is underwatered.... hmm. And if you have good soil then maybe dont give it more nutrients at the moment. If you have a digital camera can you send some pics please so we can point the problem out to you (if there is one).

Hello amckean :) Well it is normal for the bottom leaves to die off, but without seeing there size it's a bit difficult to tell
If you can post a pic that would be good ;) , just watchout for any of the leaves above them dying if they do then there might be a problem.
But try not to worry too much like I said it's normal for the bottom leaves to die ;)
Check out JPG's thread, he asked a similar question ;)

amckean, I would recommend getting a soil meter. You just stick it in the soil. Very simple and very accurate. As they get bigger you'll be surprised by how much water they can drink. But when they are small they don't drink much. You don't want the soil to stay wet all the time, no air can get down to the roots. Let them dry a little. Then water. Remember they are only 2 week old. Hereā??s a link to check out.
