What do you think the number 1 mistake is when newbies start to grow?
overwatering or insufficient/wrong type of light

Insufficient ventilation.
over watering -
actually, it is just plain old ignorance... a lot of people think they know something.. then they realize they don't know and they give up.. cause they get intimidated or don't want to put in the work...
example..it takes 10 minutes to learn about basic ph levels and how to adjust them.. with just this little bit of knowledge, people are almost certain to have a successful grow..

I totally agree with knowm. I was a lazy fucker with my first grow. Alot of new growers don't take into account pH or it's impact on plant growth. Take the time to understand every little thing fully. I read like hell through all the FAQ's on overgrow and now I'm pretty confident and happy with how things are growing now... sure, you have the lights.. The fans, the soil. But when it comes down to it all, equiptment isn't the half of growing... Would you buy a car not knowing how to drive?
