hey i just bought this 150 HPS light buld and im at my grandmas house and i wont get back to my beauties for about 3 days (ihave people caring for them)
and i keep putting the light buld into regular light sockets its fit and it can hold the watts but it never lights up it the light bulb a dud or wat i need help plz shit cost me 20 bucks
As far as I know your 150hps needs to have its own ballist to ignite the bulb, not put it in a house light socket, I could be wrong but I don't think so. Hope this helps.

Reno31 is correct. You can't use a regular light socket for a High Intensity light bulb. You nee a balast
