another mailing question....

So about a week ago I was visiting friends in TX and purchased a 1/4 oz, as I recently moved to NYC and don't have any connections yet. My buddy had sent me bud through the mail before, so I figured I'd do the same. It was sealed tight and I put a bogus return address on it, but it's been 7 days, and there's no sign of it (supposed to be 2-3 days). My girl is freaking out and thinks it's been discovered, and I want to believe it's either running late or they lost it (since they seem to lose half my mail anyways)....What do you guys think? And if they did find it, anyone know the next step the USPS would take? thanks in advance.
