Newb needs help with new bong. Help plz

I just bought a new bong and i'm not sure how high to fill the water. there's a tube inside that goes down to a certain point, is that where the water needs to be filled to?

1) Never fill the water level past the level of the bowl, either when tipped or standing straight up. If you do, you'll flood the bowl with water and soak your weed.

2) Fill it, tip it into smoking position, and suck (with the bowl and slide in place, that is). If you get water, pour a little out and try again. Once you stop getting water, you're good.

you dont need much water in a bong, the less water more smoke, thats the way i see it

Yeah, but the less water, the less filtration. You don't need a huge chamber to make the bong rip enjoyable. Hit it like a regular piece, and then rip the chamber just to finish off the already gigantic hit.

just a lil way up the stem and when u pull out the stem there should be no water that spills out,and if it dose, then dump a lil bit out, then for newer ppls, u could mark it with a sharpie so that u can fill it rite to that level.

A study showed that water smoking devices were less effective at removing carcinogens then a joint.

While a joint has 1 cannabinoid to every 13 carcinogens, a bong hit will produce 1 cannabinoid to every 37 carcinogens.

Sometimes i dont even fill my bong up untill it reaches the stem, just so all the ash and stuff that comes off the bowl is caught in the water but all the smoke is left, well intact.
Not very often tho, only when i'm very low on weed and will go to any length to conserve it :p

its pretty self explanitory if you have ever used a bong. just fill it up enough so that the smoke goes through the water. easy

i recommend you fill it with enough water until that female stem piece (the tube) is at least halfway engulfed in water.

i, too, have heard this fact. and i feel it to almost be true. i seem to be more stoned after smoking a fat J or a dutch. yet i can get just as stoned slamming a good round of bong bowls.
