i dont think you need a heating pad... but paper towel method works. When the little tail comes out you can plaant them with the tail facing down.

Several days to a week for the stubborn ones.
You're just waiting for the white taproot to appear. Careful not to handle the root and make sure it's facing down when planting. You can give them gentle light at this point.
well i went out and baught a 4 foot floro today can i use that i stillhavethe heeting pad on it but give it a brake evey once and a wile ill use soem gental light tomro morning
You can use the light after you've sowed. I wouldn't use the heating pad though, room temperature is fine.
