TV Cable Box Incident!

I was just listening to headphones in the dark. The TV set, across the room, was off, the Cable Box (on top of the TV) has the time lit up on it in yellow -which is normal when you're not watching TV. All of a sudden, as I'm laying there, the date numbers on the box go blank, a broken yellow line appears lit up across the front of the box, and it then says, "BOOT"! After about 15 seconds, this word disappeared and the time came back on.

I realized that it was only cable company technicians doing something, but it was one of those moments when, at first, you're not sure if you are in a dream, hallucinating, or whatever, lol. I WAS pretty messed up, but this really did happen, and it was odd - to say the least.
