Cooling the grow room

what is the best way to keep a closet grow room with sliding doors cooled down. The grow room is about 2 X 5 X 8. I know an exhaust fan would be good, but I do not know how to set it up. The grow I had was unsuccessful because of how much stress the plants had from heat. If anyone has any suggestions feel free, peace.
