oh no my pipe broke, help

so i have this little battie, which is this little metal pip that looks like a cigarette, and the one end has like a little place to put your bowl, and the edge around it is sharp, because you dig it into the dugout which is this little wooden case w/ a hole on top, and you dige the battie into the dugout and you grind it kinda and the end of the battie fills with bud, but what happened was i cleaned it out, so i basically just took a piece of paper, and shoved it through, and then pushed it out the other end w/ a nail, and now it's like really clean, and it's basically just a metal pipe with weed in one end, and every time i toke up the shit in one end goes all the way through the pipe and into my mouth when i inhale, how do i stop this from happening? :(

i kind of confusing. maybe use a screen from your sink or something

a screen would do you nice, or just go to a local dollar store and get a little metal pipe.
