Have you changed the light cycle to 12/12 for flowering yet? Or are they still in the veg state???
they just started growing so their still small like maybe and inch or 2 out of the soil but i need to know how to keep them short so their more well hidden
look up methods of tying your plants... its also called 'training' in my experience it seems to stress the plant a little less than topping, just look at the growfaq on overgrow.com for more info
Yeah also, check the info on your strain. But when put to flower plants will grow another 30-50%. So just put it to flower before it gets too big.
This is what i did, of course my plants were already 1ft 1/2 when i put them outside right after the last frost. I pruned mine every 3 sets of leaves(did this about 6 times) I have lots of tops and branchs. This has kept them at a decent height. As soon as i stopped pruneing the plants have really started to grow out and up. Still about a month left of veg they are pretty even in width and height about 4x4 couple are 5ft think i will have to tie them down. They just took off on me like crazy was not expecting such rapid growth. But if you prune them a couple times you should be set.
Peace dex,
Ok ya'll, I've been smoking awhile. I'm thinking about growing though. Now, I need help. When I read your posts it all sounds so complicated. So what if, I just throw some germinated seeds in a pot, water it and wait while in the sun...? O and mayhap later get the flourescent lighting and grow box... and blah blah blah... will that work until I can get the funds for more spiffy stuff to help it grow...?
It may work, but weak efforts produce weak results. Go to www.overgrow.com or pick up some grow books and do your homework before growing. You will understand it and therefore enjoy cultivating a lot more if you aren't guessing and just wondering. Once you get the basic knowledge down, you can start and learn as you grow. Good luck! :)Quote:
