The Verdict Is In

Hey, me again, w/an update....
I took the second test (after the first one came out too diluted), and they didn't get back to me till a week and half later!!!
At first, i was anxious, paranoid, the works...
then after about a week of not hearing from the lab OR my job, i decided, "one of two things is going to happen: im definately positive, or definately negative" (cuz after the first test, the lab called me within 3 days to say it was too diluted). So i said fuck it, and smoked that night :)
sounds like a stupid, bad idea given the fact that i hadn't yet learned my fate...but i guess my process of thinking was on the right track cuz i just found out yesterday that i will officially be their employee on Monday..
YAYYYY!!!
thanks again to Benagain for not being like "oh man that sucks" or "oh shit you're screwed" but instead saying things like "you'll be ok" etc...kinda like the things my friends were saying.
i ended up telling the company exactly what you said (without having read your response, i just did today) "yea, i drank a lot of water that morning cuz they told me to show up with a full bladder" blah blah blah. when they said i had to take the second test, i went and bought 2 at-home urine tests (one for mary jane, one for everything-even tho i only smoke mary jane or hash) and both came out neg, and then went off for my second test...
ok, im blabbering on cuz im so EXCITED that i can smoke again w/out this shit hanging over my head!!!
good luck to anyone who is in a similar situation to the one i was in!!
the key is really to have enough time before the test to take appropriate measures...i didn't use fake pee, or magic pills or all the other stuff they sell on the internet....just drank LOTS of green tea, peed like 5 times a day, drank water, and exercised--basically cleaned out my system--drank a TON of water the day of the test, and ended up buying myself some time by having the first one come out diluted, continued doing what i was doing until the second test...

i duno your history or the company you now work for but....the majority of companies do random or regular (or both) drug testing....if you really wanna play it safe, lay off for a month or two, or keep it really low key so that you can clear it outta your system quick...not trying to bring you down, just trying to keep you aware.

man, that is some good news. I bet you were feeling like a million fucking bucks. Like slipknotpsycho said, keep on your toes, but for now enjoy yourself :D You earned it.
